We can provide computer pickup, refurbishing and delivery for non-profits FREE. Here’s how it works:- Email us a listing of the equipment you wish us to prep.
- We pay for shipping to our facility.
- We prep the equipment – test the hardware and load the system with the appropriate operating system (assuming licenses are provided). Licenses can be purchased.
- We ship the equipment to you.
- For our time and shipping cost, we keep a percentage of the equipment.
- The non-profit has NO CASH OUTLAY.

BEDNET PROJECT
Bednet is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing computer equipment to people that are hospital bound – including expectant mothers and cancer patients. They were provided laptop computers by MBNA. Second Source tested all the equipment, decommissioned all units that were not worth fixing, ordered replacement parts for some units that could be refurbished, loaded the Windows operating system (licenses were provided by the hospital), setup their Internet accounts and made sure that each laptop worked with AOL. We also provided consulting advice on what equipment to take or refuse.
